WHAT IS THE DIGITAL STRATEGY FOR MISSION CONVENTION?
The Digital Strategy for Mission Convention brings together three conferences—NLC, GAiN, and ATS—to equip Adventist communicators, media professionals, and technologists for mission in a rapidly changing digital world. Working in an integrated way, each event builds on the next to create a unified experience that strengthens collaboration, innovation, and impact.
Who:
Communication leaders, media teams, technologists, digital missionaries, leaders, pastors, and anyone committed to advancing the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church across the digital world.
What:
Participants will experience dynamic keynote presentations, trainings, workshops, networking, and see the latest digital tools and projects from around the world.
When:
The entire convention will run from July 2-13, 2026, with each event hosted consecutively:
• NLC (Hope Channel): July 2–7
• GAiN: July 8–11
• ATS: July 12–13
Where:
The convention will be held at the Grand Millennium Hotel in Auckland, New Zealand.

Do I need a visa to enter New Zealand?

What is the weather like in Auckland in July?
July is mid-winter in New Zealand. Auckland is cool and mild with temperatures typically ranging from 8–15°C (46–59°F). Expect a mix of cloudy days, light rain, and occasional sunshine. Pack layers, a warm jacket, and comfortable walking shoes.
Do I need travel insurance?
All attendees must have active travel insurance.
• If you do not already have coverage, please select the travel insurance option during the checkout process.
• If your organization already provides travel insurance, you do not need to purchase additional coverage.
What does a typical day look like at the event?
Each day begins with breakfast at the hotel, followed by morning worship and presentations. A hosted lunch will be provided daily, with additional workshops and presentations in the afternoon. Evenings are free for you to enjoy dinner on your own, explore the city, and network with other attendees.
Can I exhibit at the event?
Yes. Exhibit space will open on January 15. An email will be sent to all registered attendees once applications go live.
Please note: You must be a registered attendee to secure an exhibit space.
Do I need to register for each event separately?
No. Registration is combined, and during the process, you can select which of the three events—NLC, GAiN, ATS—you plan to attend. This single registration system ensures a smoother experience before and during the convention.
